Former world number 1 and professional golfer, Seve Ballesteros, 54, died last weekend due to brain tumor and his death brought tributes not only from the golfing world but from other sports field too.
Rafael Nadal and the tennis world held their own tribute of a silence and applause before his weekend semi-final clash against Roger Federer at the Madrid Open as Tiger Woods and other golfers offer their words to the legendary golfer. Spain’s prime minister also say his gratitude to Ballesteros for bringing out the sports glory to the country.
The remains of Seve Ballesteros will be cremated on Wednesday and the funeral ceremony will be at the San Pedro parish church in his home village of Pedrena.
